Vitality, wisdom, benevolence, curiosity, inner peace. Signs of health and well-being. Too often we believe that with ripe age comes vulnerability, frailty and resignation. Those who are able to rise above this fated force of gravity have something to teach all of us, no matter our age. What is it? Is there a certain kind of living, a joyful daily existence, despite personal limitations, that can be counted on? Careful observation of those who live with grace and vitality in their older years reveals the power of the community to promote vibrant living. Much depends on good feedback – social, medical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual.

Two perspectives are brought together here: our anecdotal world and the world of science, the art and science of healthy aging. Collaboratively, they promote living the best way possible.

Welcome to the Age of Healthy Aging
